Both Ariza and Nunn are out with Ellington questionable. Houston has defended this early in the season holding opponents to 44.8% shooting and 33.6% from three. They are young and fast. Lakers do sit 26th in defensive efficiency by allowing 111 points per 100 possessions. Christian Wood healthy does give the Rockets and ability to compete in games. This is the front end of a home and home series against the Rockets after facing Cleveland on Friday night so this game may not be too motivating. Play Houston -12.5.
