After firing their offensive coordinator the Midshipmen were competitive in an eight point loss at Houston and beating UCF at home 34-30 last week covering each game. In their win against the Knights, Navy moved the football for 406 yards with 348 on the ground. Midshipmen defense held UCF to 326 yards. Midshipmen have covered five straight at home to the Mustangs and covered six of eight overall. Triple option will slow down the Mustangs. SMU does allow 420 yards with 131 on the ground for 4 yards per rush. They haven't seen the triple option this year. Play Navy +13.5.
