In this episode, Alex and I look back on the crazy NFL London game between the Miami Dolphins and Jacksonville Jaguars, the Dallas Cowboys overtime thriller against the NE Patriots, a Ravens domination over the Chargers, and Big D's rant on Baker Mayfield. First, we recap my Jags beating Alex's Dolphins 23-20 on Matthew Wright's 53-yard field goal as time expired in London. This win ended Jacksonville's 20-game losing streak, which was second only to the 1976-77 Bucs. Jaguars rookie coach Urban Meyer and star Trevor Lawrence got their first NFL wins yesterday. Alex explains how this season was supposed to be a good season for Miami. He also explains how this defeat was the worst day for the Dolphins since Dan Marino retired. We were both surprised that Jacksonville's Urban Meyer seemed to get the better of Miami's Brian Flores. Alex shows his frustrations and pet peeve with Miami running out of the shotgun instead with Tua Tagovailoa under center. We also liked what both quarterbacks did in London. We recap key moments of the game. I was impressed when Trevor found Marvin Jones Jr. on a great pass for a key touchdown. After the London game, we turn our attention to the Cowboys and Patriots. We also talk about Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy's coaching and lock management almost costing Dallas a road win. Cowboys receiver CeeDee Lamb is also appearing to turn into the next star receiver with his play this year. We also look at how Dak Prescott and Trevon Diggs are looking like MVP contenders on both sides of the ball. Then, we look at the Baltimore Ravens impressive win over the LA Chargers. We look into how the Ravens can win with a dominant running game - limiting possessions for great passers like Justin Herbert. We also look into what Lamar Jackson winning without playing his best football. Finally, The Big D rants on Baker Mayfield and the Cleveland Browns after the Arizona Cardinals won 37-14 over the Browns.
